AMY WIESENECK

Amy Wieseneck is a writer, performer and stand up comedian based in New York City. She has performed all over NYC including The Stand, West Side Comedy Club, The Second City New York and even some bars. She has also written/performed at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in LA and NYC. Amy is a member of LaughtHER Collective and is a writer for the comedy website Reductress.

Amy’s adult animated TV comedy pilot, Hard In the Paint, was a finalist (top 25 projects) in the Producers Guild of America Diversity Workshop in 2020. Her female forward workplace comedy, Legal Ladies, was Semifinalist in the ScreenCraft Virtual Pitch Competition in Spring 2023. Amy's adult animated pilot, Big Maine Women was a Semifinalist in the ScreenCraft Virtual Pitch Competition in Spring 2024. She has had several scripts place at the Austin Film Festival.

Most impressive, she had a residency of Sister Act 2 choreography in her family’s basement in which critics (her mom) commented "Ok Amy that's enough.”
